Muhairwe Education Trust Limited (METL) was founded by Dr William.T. Muhairwe as a way of giving back to the community. METL is a non-profit organization that supports disadvantaged students to attain higher education as they fulfill their dreams and contribute to national growth. The trust has sponsored numerous students to date from various areas of Uganda that include: Karamoja, Tororo, Jinja, Mbarara, FortPortal, South Sudan etc. These students have been sponsored in various universities such as: Makerere, Kyambogo, Mountains of the Moon, Kabale, Mbarara, Ndejje, Busitema, Uganda Christian University, etc.

Students sponsored are from a variety of field such as: medicine, engineering, business management, law etc. These students have gone on to be absorbed in the Ugandan economy and are proud products the trust. Learn more
